How I came by this issue:
Years ago my sister found a suitcase of old comics at a yard sale in Las Vegas, NV. She bought them and then wanted me to look through them to see if any were valuable. How fun that was! I determined that a few of them were worth a few dollars, but the majority of them were not very valuable at all. Once she heard that she told me to keep them. Ok! I quickly bagged and boarded the ones that I thought had value, and placed the rest in my general comic stack. Anyway, this gem was one of the comics in that find, so I thought I would finally give it a read.
The Reading Experience:
Prince Namor, upon discovering several dead fish, goes to investigate the cause. He is met by the Human Torch, who quickly surrounds and subdues him. Prince Namor is confused by the actions until he discovers that it is not Johnny Storm, but the Golden Age Human Torch who is causing all this grief! Something isn't quite right, however, and the two of them soon discover that the Torch is being controlled by an evil trio which includes the Puppet Master and the mad Thinker, who are bent on creating a huge Triangle of Terror over the USA. As the two heroes battle to save America they soon discover that the Human Torch isn't who he thinks he is!
